Yasmil Raymond was appointed curator of Dia Art Foundation in May 2009. Prior to joining Dia, Ms. Raymond worked at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis where she organized solo exhibitions with Tomás Saraceno and Tino Sehgal, and the recent exhibition Abstract Resistance, which opened in February 2010, among other projects. Ms. Raymond received her B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1999) and her M.A. from the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College (2004). In 2004 Ms. Raymond received the Monique Beudert Curatorial Award, given by the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College.
